The Power of an EVA in fighting a seductress

I have already given a brief outline of what an EVA is in the past few articles. As my research regarding EVA theory is very abstract, it may be difficult to understand at first, and it may even seem weird to some people. However, it is in fact rational and real.

The story of the power of the EVA continues. In fact, a few days ago, an incident that happened to me provided a perfect example of EVA bond and its power against a seductress, and I am here to share it.

1/2 Dnd canvassing briefing

Today I had a truly pleasant surprise. It was the Hall 2 DND canvassing briefing and a number of us went down together to Commonwealth for the briefing. At Commonwealth, I was surprised to run into an EVA of mine who had previously broken the EVA bond by force. The EVA class was Intermediate, and even though the bond had been broken, by force, yet, I still detected some residual power in the bond. Little did I know that this power would soon be tapped to deal with a daring seductress, in less than an hour's time.

At the briefing, I noticed that the girl sitting next to me kept on looking at me. I did not, and do not, know her name, but her intention could not have been more plain. It was obvious, to me at least, though I believe the rest were too far away to notice. I happen to be sitting far away from the others, and between me and the others there were the host and her partner.

I do not know why she is doing it, I do not know her intentions. However, experience with these weapon class people tells me that there is no doubt at all. A seductress is roughly the negative of an EVA, like Smith is the negative of Neo, like a virus to a game. Therefore, the ideal weapon to deal with a seductress, is a life force, a force of will so strong that the seductress cannot break, like how a Patronus stops a Dementor. That is to say, roughly speaking, since a seductress attacks by confusing and distracting you, the way to deal with her is to think of someone that has the power to stop her, and believe that your guardian spirit has the power to stop her. In other words, the EVA is the best sword to deal with her.

Instinctively, I looked around the room, in search for a convenient EVA to block her. And I saw my former EVA at once. Without thinking, as though I have already planned it deep down inside me, I looked at her and thought of her. The effect was instant. The images of the weapon beside me were immediately dispelled, and her further attempts were so feeble that they were outright laughable and not a worry at all.

Honestly speaking, I was rather amazed at how well the EVA bond worked against her, with someone who I had not drawn power from for so long, and who broke the EVA bond by force. I thought that, the force being so strong, reapplication of the bond would have been impossible. Yet it happened. I can only conclude that the EVA bond is so strong, so deep, that just the residual force was good enough, it is like in Harry Potter, those that we have loved even after they have died, will still give us some protection. This was also an incredible display of EVA bond.

I did not share this with anyone that day except one friend, not even the EVA herself, though I did allow my gaze on her to stay a little bit longer as I watched her leave. It was nothing scandalous; rather, it was an act of appreciation for her help earlier, which she never meant to do.
