I think my lappie is asking me to stop playing games. Today while playing Frozen Throne, there was a sudden crash and a blue screen. I have had a few blue screens while playing full screen, but today the blue screen was so bad that another one invaded on restart.
From past experience, this is a sign of the computer going to crash totally. It means I better stop playing full screen games.
I certainly do not want her to crash during exam period, so from now on strictly essential operations only. Essential operations are defined as MSN, Facebook, Edventure, and viewing of files currently on the computer. Games are ok, as is Youtube and similar activities, but nothing too straining.
In particular, this means no full screen games, no visiting of non official web sites, and no overloading of the graphics. I am glad that I am not a fan of porn, otherwise porn practically falls into all of these categories all together.
Strange how computers always seem to tell me that I should study when the time comes. When I was doing my 'O' Levels, my computer broke down as well.
From now on, strictly essential operations only, daily backups of data files, until I bring her to the repairs, which will not be until after exams too.
